My favourite flowers - I love the detailed patterns on the petals and the deep colour.  
What can I remember of the day?
Food shopping in the morning.
My brother came at lunchtime but mum didn't feel well enough to go out (she'd been out a long, long time with my sister on Friday).
Made a start on selecting images that might fit the `street' category of our final print competition of the summer.  (I do take images of people in the street but I wouldn't call myself a `street photographer') so I had a trawl through some likely venues and created a new collection in Lightroom.  In the end I decided to use images I'd taken during our Venice trip last November.
