Rumbling On

A dozen coal trains rumble through Blue Mountains' railway stations every day. Some are headed down the hill toward coal loading terminals on the coast while others (like this one) are returning empty to coal fields west of Lithgow. Most trains are a kilometre or more in length and are pulled by four of the largest diesel electric locomotives available. Day and night they rumble on ... and on.

Tomorrow I resume hosting duties for the Wide Angle Wednesday challenge (widwed14). The theme will be "A Cat's Eye View". Why not give it a go this week? I should like to thank Chantler63 for having done such a great job of hosting through May.
