A first for me today ........ a Yellow Wagtail ......and also a Yellowhammer!!!

Mid afternoon the rain actually stopped ..... so we set off for a drive around ...... it was blowing a gale ..... so much so that I could hardly stay upright ..... so a walk didn't seem a good idea!!!

We saw a lot of different birds ...... including Kestrels, a Buzzard & Meadow Pipits ...... as well as the ones featured here :-)

Apologies for the quality of the photos .... but they were both quite a long distance away & the wind was so strong that I struggled to hold the camera still .... in fact I was sheltering behind the car so as not to get blown over! Even so it was a lovely trip out :-)
