Viking Neptun (again)
13.8C and bright with some sunny spells. Very windy. Wind to 36 mph with gusts to 53 mph.
The new gas boiler was installed today. The engineers arrived just before 8am and were gone by 4pm. A team of three. Hand picked by the area manager because of the asbestos board under the old boiler, and that was evident. Job done, everything tested, and even the rubbish taken away.
Apothecary7 and I went to Broughty Ferry about 9.30am to get out of the house for a while, leaving the men to get on with their job in peace. We had coffee/tea in Caffe Nero and had a walk with Maeve the Deerhound. It was very windy, but out at the end of the pier by the harbour I noticed the ship I saw yesterday was by the quay in Dundee. The rig is the Ensco 100, and beside it are Orelia and Viking Neptun.
