A Sort of 'What Is It?'

Coming to the end of a busy but satisfying day I was in need of a blip, and thought of doing a 'What Is It' just to make a nuisance of myself, but I found myself back on the floor after being there this morning making some updates to my computer .  .  .

Well it's a bit obvious what I have added to my  .  .  . ok, I'll give those that want to have a guess a chance, but one more clue, it's much easier typing tonight .  .  . !!!
