The peony has survived the bad weather

Tonks has taken her tablets

and I'm having "first world problems"

they've sent the wrong knob for the gas fire...she told me it was my fault for relying on the picture on their web site that came up when I put in the make & model

Then there was an afternoon of bonkers email exchanges when someone who had said they were going to do something to move my project on challenged me on why we had made little progress

There were two other incidents but ranting won't solve them so ... I'll be missing again tonight unless I solve them in the next hour
