Free Entertainment

Who needs the internet or the telly when you have a pair of grey wagtails entertaining you?  The cottage is by a stream and it was full of insects and this pair of grey wagtails would arrive each evening to catch them - they'd perch on the cottage's outside light and have such a wonderful time and be not at all afraid of us - if anything, they would have landed on the picnic bench we were sitting on given half the chance! :) xx
