Here is our county flower - the wild pansy. In meadows near our house they gow in wild profusion at this time of year.
Early summer is a time of flowers. and as we walked out this morning in the sun we saw fields full of dandelions and in slightly tougher soils we found the pansies.
 These flowers seem to thrive in all waethers.
Considering the cold and rainy weather we’ve had, and are having now as I write, this is probably a good thing!
