A family gathering

Even though there are only 4 of us, it isn't often that we all sit down together.  It was pleasant to do so this evening on the occasion of No 1 daughter's actual 17th birthday (as opposed to the rehearsals we've been having for several days.  

We went to Tiger Lily in George Street, Edinburgh.  Adult enough for the 17 year old and accommodating that they'd let her wee brother in too.  He found duck on the menu so was happy - comparing it to an historic meal he'd had at the Duck and Waffle in London.  The rest of us had different seafood - with scallops being the common denominator.  All very tasty.

I'd had this song playing in my head, but boy does it sound dated! I decided it would dampen spirits if I were to introduce it to the girl.
