Mount Vesuvius Climb

Reaching it to the top of Mt Vesuvius was a major personal achievement. I had undergone limb trauma 6 months before this picture was taken. I was unsure whether I would be able to make this trek and when I asked my consultant he said 'I'm not a betting man but I'd bet you will have your frame off by Christmas'. He should have been a betting man.

The photos don't do the view justice, I couldn't get a shot I was happy with. The view was incredible and I long to climb more mountains since seeing the world from this perspective was simply incredible.
