Well, look at that :)

I was so upset yesterday. So very upset.
There was much crying and pleading with the Universe to not take my Sacred Spot in the Backyard away from me - and today, when I came home, I found a little chipmunk. I knew there had to be, but aside from a probable quick sighting* a few years ago they have never let me see them before today.
And he/she hung around, ate a LOT, almost got in a fight with Mama Red and generally behaved like it had always been there.

And it made me so happy.

LOOK AT THOSE CHEEKS! OOOOOH!

*it moved so fast I wasn't sure it wasn't just a mouse.
