Thrill seekers

Our second day at Alton Towers!
After an ample breakfast & bag pack, we took the "woodland walk" into the park this morning which aided avoidance of the huge monorail cues at the park entrance.
Thrill seeking rides were sought today, with Evie, Ferguson & myself heading on a spinning Sonic ride whilst Alex headed to CBeebies land with Marley & Gracie.
Alexander & I managed to steal an hour to join the queue for Rita.
I managed to coax us into the front seats line & it was most definitely worth the (only slightly longer) wait.
What an amazing rush of adrenaline!
We both are no doubt thrill seekers....
More water & getting wet rides followed too.
I was courteously excused from the log flume so that I could have a chance on my requested ride- The 14 loop Smiler.
It was good & thrilling, but I did actually enjoy Rita more & glad I had gone on that too...!

It felt sad heading home after such a fun-packed enjoyable exhausting 2 days away.
I'm so glad we extended the day trip & got away as a family.
I think every one of us will remember the thrills, splashes & wind in our hair for a while to come.
(He & I even bought 2 discounted return tickets so that we can complete the "Big 6 challenge" without children!)
