Spawning trout

It's that time of the year when the rainbow trout migrate up the streams to spawn, and there is something so special to be able to wander along the stream banks and watch them as they congregate and swish around.
The numbers vary but this morning I counted at least 12 in one of the pools, this may be after the heavy rain we have just had.

Having major issues with broadband at the moment, along with the neighbours, our speed has dropped over the last few days to about dial up speed. We get so used to having decent speed that allows us to watch videos  and download large files, that there is a real sense of frustration. Finding it so slow looking at files on Blip. Thanks heaps for all the stars and faves for yesterdays pumpkin...thrilled.
