Hiatus on Hat Hill
or, Men and their Machines.
Most of Hat Hill was without power today as three power poles were replaced.
It was extraordinary how many men with machines were on the ground.
This shot was just one of two stations. Think this, but double.
No wonder we're going broke and power is costing an arm and a leg. On the up side - it appears that it all went smoothly - thank you.
Heard on the radio recently that in ten years time (or was it 20 - whatever!) that each household will have a battery the size of a HWS and a whirly gig on the roof and the poles and wires will be obsolete.
Personally, I can't wait.
