Unbelievably, we went out for dinner tonight...

The plan was to cook. Because the oven was going to be all good. Yeah ... poor young electrician spent a LOT of time at our place today. It is all good in the end, but by that time it was a bit late, and we were a bit frazzled.

Never mind. Mostly there.

I tell you though, if something can be stupidly, idiotically wrong, guarantee it's this kitchen. Today, the light over the dining table couldn't go on, because a little rod piece was missing from the box. Everything else there. This one, very necessary, piece, not. So Mrs t has to sort that out tomorrow. Joy.

However, there is some consolation, and it's not small:
