London Skyline

Enjoyed a trip to the Sky Garden which is situated at the top of the building known as the Walkie Talkie in the city today.

The views are fab and although you have to pre-book a time slot, it's free, hurray :) and your visit will continue to be free if you can resist the urge to empty your pockets and pay silly money for a cup of tea in the posh cafe up there.

There is indeed a garden as the name suggests. Highly recommend a visit if you can.

The picture isn't the best - it was taken through a window and couldn't avoid a bit of reflection. My little camera wasn't able to get a decent shot into the distance. This is looking east towards Canary Wharf. You can see the Tower of London at the bottom. Being so high up highlights the bendiness of the river.
