Small is beautiful

Teeny tiny alpine dianthus in a trough outside my kitchen door.
Lovely to have a brighter day today. It could be a bit warmer- tomorrow should do that fingers crossed.
Today I have waved Dave off, made a start on my last batch of exam scripts and read through a bundle from another institution where I am external examiner. The standard there is very good and I'm not at all influenced by the fact that a few of them managed to cite the eminent authority Ann Blair :-). Good people. More marking tomorrow.
