Hopes of things to come

We have a very old apple tree in the garden - a Victorian variety. The trunk is gnarled and rotten in places but it produces masses of fruit. The trouble is they are often 'wormy'. So this year I'm taking full precautions with various sticky substances to catch the moths that cause the worms in the apples. Fingers crossed!
