All done!

That's my operation done! I am home and still a bit floaty from the anaesthetic. 

The Day surgery procedure is very much like a conveyor belt/production line but the staff are all excellent, cheerful and do a great job!

Due to a few mix-ups I was later going down than I should have been. But I was on the ward to recover by 2 pm. That was good - I was very chilled out, had a comfy bed and sunlight coming through the window. I closed my eyes and I was on a beach in the Med!

Once I'd woke up a bit I read my book. Got to do lots of resting now for two weeks, so I should get a bit more reading done!
