to Watch the Watchers

We have had a beautiful, if slightly breezy, day here.  The weather is now good enough for the TT practice sessions.

This is the scene at the end of my road..  The TT Marshals are keeping an eye on things.

The ephemeral shape in the background is a motor cyclist going past at enormous speed.

I always thought that the road at this location was flat but at the speed the cyclist is going it cannot be - look how his/her  front wheel has lifted off the ground!
