Flown the Nest

This is not the best photo.  Wrong lens,  and through a wet window but this was my only opportunity.  Over the past few weeks I have watched the mother fly back and for to the small nesting box we had placed on a south facing wall in our garden.  She didn't seem to mind us or the dogs passing by. She just carried on working and caring for her babies. Yesterday was the big day when her babies flew the nest.  This little one clung on for dear life to this branch, terrified to move, but just as I changed the lens, it plucked up courage and flew away.  I felt quite sad.
