Thornton le dale

The weather seemed a bit brighter today and there were glimpses of blue sky on our walk from May beck to Falling Foss,  where at the tea rooms we had a great bacon butty, so we decided to go to Thornton le Dale so I could get a photo of this famous Thatched Cottage, chocolate box style with blue sky and white fluffy clouds.  We parked in the village walked up the road and as we got her and I un zipped the camera bag, the rain started , and it stopped when we got back to the caravan an hour or so later!  So rather than spending time composing my shot, it was a quick snap shot and quickly get the camera in the dry again... I'm sure you can all see how pretty it would be in sunshine.
