My birthday. We went (as we often do) to the Isle of May. Meles and Jim-Happy Again and I.
Fantastic light, good company, much lens-comparing...
I love the way that the feet of the bird on the left are giving an orange cast to his belly. I love that little yellow bit of skin at the corner of his bill...and the grey triangle round his eye, and...and...
Actually, if you don't love everything about puffins, there is something badly wrong with your soul.
Ta to my splendid brother-in-law for the lift and the chat. It was his gift to me of an old D40 six years ago that got me started blipping.
