Only a duck

I went down to the canal today to see how the swans were getting on. The nest was empty and I couldn't see them anywhere. My friend lives right where the nest is and she has reliably informed me that they still have five cygnets left out of the eight. That's a great result so far so hopefully they'll have a successful year. So I had to settle for a duck.
