Mourning Dove hunting for fallen Sunflower seeds

This Mourning Dove, and it's life partner, were hunting underneath my bird feeders for fallen Sunflower or Safflower seeds.  At this time of the year they have a beautiful pink iridescent area on their necks - the rest of their feathers have a very 'soft' look, I feel, like the Tufted Titmouse.
