A new grandson!

My widwed challenge plans went by the wayside, when Abel Salomon Evans decided to make his entry to the world today. He was a couple of weeks early. My blip for Mothers day, May 10th, was of his expecting parents in the swing. John and I drove to Eugene to meet this new member of the family. He is so precious, looking a lot like his dad did as a baby, I thought. 
It is all so amazing: new life, a new, unique person. Welcome to the world, Abel!
