Sunset over Southshore

It was lovely having a walk along the shoreline this evening. The low evening sun is so beautiful at this time of the year. Plus there were many gulls and even a rainbow.
I'm adding two more images in 'Extra', especially for Riwaka7, whose two images yesterday inspired me to capture images facing east and west. The 'blue hour' effect of the first one has a distinctly lavender hue; the first time I've seen it like this in real life. I'm wondering if it was caused by an unusually orange sunset.
