Composition No 729: Dog Day Afternoon

Got up at 4am today to view the Venus Transit. But for viewers in Scotland it was misty and overcast. In fact it has pissed with rain all day.
Sat down this evening to watch "Dog Day Afternoon" with my son. Had forgotton quite what a wonderfully tightly scripted film it is. Five minutes in, a deer appeared outside on the lawn.
It ran off before I could take any decent images. My cat Tommy however decided to take advantage of the situation.
