Surf dropping . . .

This is taken at the other end of Sandy Beach.  While the surf continues to drop, red warnings were still being flown at the beach.
Another rainy day that ended up being sunny on the eastern end of the island.  The extra foto is just cause I liked it.
Fire Department was fighting a brush fire further up the road and their trucks were visible up the Makapu'u Trail.   The smoke appeared to be rising from the valley floor, but the fire looked under control.  Will check tomorrow's paper.
