Turtle Creek

Wandered down to the Willow Park Ecology Centre, just down the road at Norval this afternoon. A wetland area at the end of Hungry Hollow where Silver Creek joins the Credit River, the nature reserve is a 5-acre home for native plants, animals, snakes and pond-life. After watching this turtle eat lunch, we did our bit for the preservation of another native species by heading off for coffee and doughnuts . . .
