Sports Day!

Orla was complaining of sore knees this morning and not feeling very well. These were symptoms of not wanting to go to school because it was Sports Day and because she said everyone was faster than her. We talked about how it was the taking part that counts, but it seemed to be telling her a 'secret' about how to run fast that changed her mind (the secret was to pump her arms).

Well she had a great time and said Sports Day was fantastic, despite coming last in the running race ("I tried pumping my arms, but I still cam last!"). Her favourite race was the space hopper race!
