CHAPARAL ON THE COAST - ON HIGHWAY 1

This was a long fight to keep this land open and it became a State Park years ago. You can see our native plants, this is what California would look like without all those imported species. Also, at the end of the cove there is a little cottage, where the movie:   " BEACHES"  with Bette Midler was filmed.
