My Street

Our "Boulevard" has become host to the second day of a four day open festival that moves around the city at this time of year. Streets are shut off to traffic and stages set up all over the place. This shot is about 400 meters down my street and it goes on like this, on both sides of the road (this is only one side) for another 2km. And that's just my street. The whole neighbourhood has around 10 more official stages like the one in the extras and then there are many, and all sorts of ad-hoc music forms. It's wild out there. 

Luckily it's a bank holiday tomorrow.
