Perched

on the edge of the dock, having a good look inside the boat.   I wonder if he'd stand here if there wasn't a boat docked.
When I was over at our daughter's, I blipped this nest that was inside one of her flower baskets.  A couple of days ago, she sent us a photo of the baby birds that have hatched, and I included it as the extra.  Hard to get a photo with the parents hovering around protectively, but you get the idea!  How great to have a nest so close and to see the babies.  :)
