The Long Bridge

This bridge was originally built around 1280 to cross the river Taw in Barnstaple, and was last modified in 1963. It was a one of a number of photos I took this evening on the Camera Club Summer Walk. It felt like Summer had arrived until the Sun disappeared behind a cloud and the wind picked up. That was the cue to retire to the Custom House for our evening meal :-)
