Brighton

We went to Brighton today. The weather was poor and we got wet several times but we still had a good time.

The highlights of the visit were:

The peace inside St Barthomew's church - it's vast size is amazing (outside and inside)

The after noon tea in the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery

The young man in the post office queue that was drawing out a pound, so that he had enough money to buy some eggs to go with his bread and sausages.

It put life into perspective. I nearly gave him the pound and then thought better of it. He shook my hand when he said goodbye. A nice guy trying to make his way in this not so nice world.
