Angelique and Susi
Off to the recycling dump again - 3 loads. I try to take these Saturday trips to the village of Hawangen so that I can visit the cheese dairy and buy a block of their own made "Chester" cheese. It is quite acceptable. Sadly today should mark the end of these trips to the dump as the hedge has now been butchered to near nakedness.
As yesterday (dump is open for a few hours on Monday & Friday afternoon and Saturday morning) and on previous weekends, many of the locals like to take their old tractors out for a stroll with a trailer of grass cuttings.
Today at the top "Susi" a Fahr tractor if I remember correctly 1957. The owner didn't know what model so can't give any more detail.
Below a Porsche. The plate says it is a model 217 which I think means it is a Porsche Standard T217 which would make it a 1.3 litre, 2 cylinder, 20hp motor built from 1930 to 1962. Angelique could do with one of these to get her & Phoebe down to the beach in Cornwall and leave the Boxster in the garage, safe from the sea salt.
Weather is at long last picking up.
