A Castle View

We were on the last of our tours today before the end of our holiday in Cyprus. We first of all stopped at Kolossi Castle, it was once the headquarters of the Knights of St John who used it as a base where they could administer their vast sugar plantations and vineyards. This 3 storey Commanderie as it was known gave its name to their prized Commandaria dessert wine which is still produced today . We claimed up the spiral staircase to have a look at the view , this is one of the views overlooking Limassol x
