Baddesley Clinton

We visited Baddesley Clinton this afternoon. It's a NT property which is only about 20 minutes drive from us. 
We had to decide between "going out"  and "jobs" for  today or tomorrow. We decided to go out today as the weather was beautiful, and there will be less visitors (like us!) on a weekday. 
We arrived just gone 1 o' clock, and all the salads and ploughman's had already been snaffled, so we bought sandwiches. Good news - at last NT have gone from about 3 layers of packaging on their sarnies to one. The bad news is that the one layer had resulted in the top slice of the bread going dry - both C and I found the same and we had chosen different fillings, so it must be the wrapping. 
The house looked stunning in the sunshine, and we could smell the wisteria from the opposite side of the moat. There were also lots of baby ducks and geese about.
