Pseudo Penguin

Ok, so last night's boaby-blip wasn't to everyone's taste, but there you go. 

Back to safe ground tonight with some fluffy cygnet doing a penguin impersonation. Wasn't expecting to see anything coming from this clutch after the pen was scared off the nest by some numpty trying to get in a bit too close a few weeks back. They arrived in the past couple of days and not sure they've even been off of the nest yet, and there are still two eggs in there unhatched. Good to see them making an appearance though, even if they are a bit late to the party.

Friday, another mad week, but possibly the merest glimpse of light hinting at the end of the relentlessness. But, like the swan here, not counting my cygnets 'til they're hatched.
