A final treat in Cologne.

Today was exceptionally hot in Cologne, 33 degrees! After looking around the beautiful zoological gardens we returned to the city for lunch. Finally, in an Italian ice cream cafe just across the square from Cologne Cathedral, we shared this delicious ice cream. Due to a very late Eurostar we are still travelling home, tired but having enjoyed a good few days in Germany.
