Flags

This long string of flags seems to connect the tower of St John's at the west end of Princes Street with the roof of St Cuthbert's, which lies next door and down a bit. They look a bit like Tibetan prayer flags. I suppose praying goes on in both establishments, but I'm not sure about Tibetans. I didn't get the chance for a better shot as a long queue of double decker buses got in the way.
