Barbecue

After ten years as a primary school parent, tonight was the last summer barbecue. A quiet moment gave me the chance to blip the oystercatchers. Each year they have nested in the school courtyard, raising chicks successfully in full view of several classrooms. The kids have learned a lot watching them.
