Book Club

Friday night is book club night with the lovely Chesham Ladies.  I think we spent at least 15 minutes discussing the book this time - The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.  The general consensus was that it was a page-turner, was slightly repetitive in parts, had some good twists, was an enjoyable read and an impressive debut novel.  We also discussed local traffic jams, Freddie Flintoff, what happens to your spirit when you die, working as a medical secretary and blipfoto (yay) to name but a few.  The majority vote went to The Letter by Kathryn Hughes as our next book.

Many thanks to Michelle for hosting, and for recommending the delicious New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc despite her husband not approving of it.  A great evening was enjoyed by all!
