Autumn selection

Our flowering cherry tree in our front yard is always late in everything. In spring it holds its flowers longer than any of the trees I see around Timaru and its always late in dropping its leaves before winter. And here it is officially winter and it still has its autumn color on. A selection of colour on a cold winters day. The frosts are frequent and crisp and the days still and cold. Just like winters used to be.
