A Little Bit of History

I thought I would have a change from a garden or flower blip today.
This is a commemorative plaque seen on a row of four Alms houses in my local town. I hope it is legible.  The houses are Grade 11 listed buildings and were built in 1885 to commemorate the life of Alfred Milward.
