Small

After we'd visited the Sikh ladies for a delicious farewell lunch, old D left for Brussels and later young D returned from Clydebank, very muddy. The latter seemed not to have acquired any ticks but he had several midge bites in unmentionable places that I put antihistamine cream on, out of the kindness of my heart.

At some point during the day I picked up the programme for the Leith Festival. Its brochure is about one twentieth the size of the Edinburgh Festival one; it's a small festival, all done on a shoestring and very unpretentious. Definitely not the Edinburgh Festival. See you on Leith Links for the Gala Day!
