WHU 2014 T00091

This is a welsh racing pigeon which has been in our garden for a day or two.  We are in Reading Berkshire so he is a few miles from home.  Have reported his whereabouts to a text number found online.
Seems very hungry and friendly.  Obviously used to being around humans and not to fending for himself in the wild. 
Will he regain his composure and head home?  Have got an old rabbit hutch out of the shed.  Maybe he'd like the shelter overnight and be secure there from any predators who might pass by at night eg the fox which regularly comes through.
