Let us eat cake...

Tomorrow is a special day for me, my 50th birthday. We celebrated with the Christchurch part of the family tonight because, weather permitting we fly to Wellington tomorrow to celebrate with the other half of our family.

Abby made me this huge cake of chocolate with chocolate ganache. Pretty spectacular isn't it? It was very tasty indeed.

Snow is melting. Illness is abating. We both gave up and went to the doctors today. Antibiotics for us both. Let's hope the improvement speeds up with this help.
