Taking a breather

Has been good for me but it turns out I missed you all in blipland.

The 101km walk was everything I expected it to be and more. I thought it was going to be about the beautiful scenery but in the end it was all about the people. Those that walked with me and those people we met along the way. In whose homes we stayed and at whose table we ate. I salute you.

Speaking of walking, the training begins for the Forest half marathon in July. This is the Striders doing their thing. The weather was grey. And cold. Coffee at the market was our reward.

We wished Sarie and Ita well. They leave for the Isle of Man to do The Parish to Parish race. Good luck girls. Wings on your feet.
